The Art of Adjustments in Yoga 

 

1-2 Years of Experience is Required for this workshop.

 

Hands on adjustments offer the teacher ways to enhance our students experience. Supporting and stabilizing make way for the student to find their edge and expereince more freedom in the pose. However, there is an art to adjustments. Learn this art in the following poses for your students.

 

Childs Pose – Adhomukha VeerAsana

Downward Facing Dog – Adho Mukha Svanasana

Upward facing Dog – Urdhva Mukha Svanasana

Standing Forward Bend –UttanAsana

Triangle – Trikonasana

Standing Wide Angled Forward Bend – Prasarita Padottanasana

Pyramid – Parsvottanasana

Chair – Utkatasana

Warrior 1 – Virabhadrasana 1

Warrior 2 – Virabhadrasana 2

Seated Forward Bend – Paschimottanasana

Cobblers Pose – Baddha Konasana

Supine Hand to big toes – Supta Padangushta Asana 1/2

Bridge Pose – Setubandha

Camel Pose – Ushtra Asana

Air release pose – Pawanmukta Asana
